Chad and Dr. Sarah Lee bought the clinic in the spring of 2007 from Dr. Tom Erickson. At that time, the name of the clinic was changed from Lee Lake Pet Clinic to the Lee Veterinary Clinic and the clinic was moved from Dr. Erickson's garage on Lee Lake to a small building outside of Hawley. Dr. Erickson had only been seeing dogs and cats less than 30 pounds at that time. This was then expanded to include dogs and cats of all sizes and horses. There have been many changes with the clinic since 2007 including moving the clinic twice, expanding services offered, and hiring more staff.
